Terms and conditions
These terms govern the use and purchase of Sonora, the music player for macOS available at sonora-hifi.com. By installing or using Sonora you accept them.
1. Who sells Sonora
Sonora is offered by Luis Arias Rabadán, tax ID (NIF) 48932195V, address Calle Perú, 49, 41807 Espartinas (Seville), Spain (the “seller”), who sells Sonora under the trade name Na&Gon Software. Contact: soporte@sonora-hifi.com.
Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), our merchant of record: Paddle charges the price, calculates and remits applicable taxes, issues the invoice and processes refunds. By buying you also accept Paddle’s buyer terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).
2. What a license includes
A license gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Sonora on up to 2 of your Macs. You can release a Mac from within the app (License…) to use it on another. You may not share the key with others, resell it, or use Sonora to offer a service.
Sonora is licensed, not sold: the code and the brand remain the seller’s. You may not decompile, modify or circumvent the licensing system except where the law expressly allows.
3. Free trial
The first time you open Sonora you get a 14-day trial with all features, with no card and no sign-up. The trial is tied to your Mac. When it ends, Sonora locks until you activate a license; your library and settings are not deleted.
4. Plans and prices
- Monthly: €7.99/month, renewing automatically.
- Yearly: €59.99/year, renewing automatically.
- Lifetime: one-time payment of €249, no renewals.
Prices shown exclude VAT and other applicable taxes, which are added to the amount at checkout according to your country and shown before you confirm the purchase. Prices may change for new purchases; changes do not affect a period already paid and, for subscriptions, we will tell you before the next renewal.
5. Subscriptions: renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the same price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in the receipt Paddle sends you, or by writing to soporte@sonora-hifi.com. After cancelling, the license stays active until the end of the period already paid, then Sonora locks. If a payment fails, the license may be suspended until it is resolved.
6. Lifetime license
The lifetime license does not expire and is never charged again. It includes all updates to Sonora version 1.x and can be activated on up to 2 Macs at a time. A later major version (2.0 or above) may be sold separately.
7. Withdrawal and refunds
See the refund policy.
8. Internet connection
Sonora periodically checks the license with our server (at least once every 30 days). Offline, it can keep working until the last check expires. See the privacy policy for the data exchanged.
9. Your music
Sonora plays the files you own. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to your music. The seller does not host or access your library.
10. Warranties and liability
Sonora is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every audio device. This does not limit consumer rights granted by law (statutory conformity guarantee for digital content). To the extent permitted by law, the seller’s liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months; the seller is not liable for indirect damages, nor for damage to audio equipment resulting from a volume or configuration chosen by the user.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; important changes will be announced on the website or by email. Continuing to use Sonora after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory rules of your country of residence also protect you and you may go to the courts of your home. You can also use the EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
